From the Desk of Cara Parmigiani
Dear Entrepreneur,
You are venturing out into the rewarding world of entrepreneurship! You are passionate and dedicated to creating the business of your dreams. You have a big job ahead of you. It’s exciting! But it’s scary...
You know you need to form a company, write some sort of partnership agreement, craft employee contracts, create goods and service agreements, negotiate your lease, and much more…Maybe you’ve considered doing all of this yourself, jumping on Legal Zoom and downloading some generic forms or templates. Maybe you thought to yourself, “I can take care of this legal stuff after I open and I’m making some money. After all, if my business fails, I won’t need fancy contracts.”
Maybe you’ve hired the family attorney to jerry-rig a few legal documents (although you’re not really sure if they’re the right ones, or what else you’ll need to build your business). Maybe you’ve asked your friends or colleagues to help you; or you’ve scoured the internet “borrowing” contracts and agreements from your competitors and trying to make them your own.
Guess what? I don’t blame you.
The legal side of any business can be confusing, overwhelming, expensive, and down-right painful. Here’s the problem…
Going into business without a properly structured legal plan is like sleepwalking into a busy roadway; you are unprotected and vulnerable, and you don’t even know it. Disputes with clients, partners, landlords, and employees, are just a few of the dangers you face on your journey.
Sure, you can try to protect yourself using friends, family, and the world wide web. If you’re anything like me, you are no stranger to risk. I started my law practice from scratch. I have fought in the ring in Muay Thai and competed in Judo. I have run for public office against tough odds…
But there is one thing I will never risk… And that is the welfare of my family. Your business is your life. It pays for the roof over your head. It feeds and clothes you and your family. And it must be protected.
You and your business need to be protected, prepared, and ready to take on the challenges that await you.
Hello, my name is Cara Parmigiani, attorney at law, and I help entrepreneurs like you build businesses that are built to last.
And I help you WITHOUT speaking legalese or complicating what should be an easy and stress-free process. We can do this by creating a plan that fits your budget and needs.
So, if you are a new business owner or entrepreneur and you think I might be able to help you to build your dream business (and avoid legal hot water and expensive mistakes), then let me know. We will work together to create a plan for building your legal armor. On this call you will learn if I’m the right fit for you, and if you’re the right entrepreneur for me.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
